235901 - Guidance Counselor
Study the psychological, emotional and educational problems of students; assist in solving or overcoming them; and prepare the specialized reports and documents in the field of guidance Counseling.
Main Tasks:
Build bridges of trust and communication with students, for the purpose of early discovery of psychological, emotional and educational problems; and explore their causes.
Cooperate with teaching staff to help students recognizing their problems and their causes, attempt helping them in cooperation with the guidance Counselor for finding solutions and overcoming such problems.
Revise transcripts; find students with poor achievement; attempt to discover the reasons for poor achievement and learning difficulties; and cooperate with the teaching staff to help students confronting learning difficulties through the remedial courses.
Contact with the guardians or refer the difficult cases to specialists.
Prepare the documents and reports specialized in the field of guidance counseling; and maintain these documents and reports on their corresponding database.
