Mechanism to Access a Household Listed in a Survey Sample

 

A-In cities

The researcher can reach out to the sampled household by using his work area form no. 1 and maps. He can use information like the number of region, sector and block as they are shown on the map as well as the number of building and house.

If the researcher is working in more than one region, he can start with the region that has the lowest number. If he is working in more than one sector, he can start with the one that has the lowest number. He can start with the block that has the lowest number and the building that has the lowest number until he reaches the residential unit inhabited by the sampled household.

B-In villages

The researcher can reach out to the sampled household by using his work area form no. 1 and maps. He can start with the area that has the lowest number and then the building that has the lowest number before moving on to the units until he reaches the sampled household.
